As Dr Bill, Glenmorangie's freethinking Director of Whisky Creation, enjoyed a cup of his favourite Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee, the notion of Signet first came to him. At once his mind filled with spiralling mocha flavours that he could not forget. It would take him years to bring this unprecedented whisky to life. But in its tiramisu tones and melting chocolate, you can taste his most delicious imaginings. Signet begins with Glenmorangie's precious chocolate malt spirit, made just once a year in their giraffe-high stills. Its espresso-like intensity fills the Distillery with aromas more familiar in an Italian coffee bar. Over the years, they temper its power with rare and treasured casks. Bourbon for creaminess. Sherry for sweetness. The spice of virgin charred oak. All balanced by some of the oldest whisky they own. The result? A velvet explosion of flavour. Aged in three different types of wood, the award-winning Grant's Triple Wood Blended Scotch whisky has a smooth, rich and mellow taste. The three key ingredients, Scottish water, air and barley, are combined in American Oak, Virgin Oak and Bourbon Refill casks to lend the blended spirit its complex character. Hibiki Harmony encapsulates the harmony that exists between Japanese nature and people. Plum and roses on the nose backed up by a hint of mizunara oak and dark chocolate. Oily in texture and delightful in taste.

A fresh-faced, zesty whisky with a natural golden amber colour direct from the cask and as invigorating as the Orkney breeze. Fresh, clean and floral on the nose, with heathered honey and a touch of citrus. Sweet and spicy on the palate, with toasty notes of burnt orange, jasmine and fruitcake. A long finish with peppery spice, woody notes and orange zest, and the subtle, aromatic kick of smoke that you only get from Orkney heathered peat.

This is a wonderfully rich and complex single malt. Opening with rich and spicy aromas of crème brulee, heather honey and crumbled cinnamon, intensely fruity notes follow - fresh pineapple dressed with a scattering of sun-kissed lemon zest. There's a hint of freshly-baked sponge cake too, warm from the oven, and you'll find cinnamon again, but toasted shards this time. Citrus and vanilla notes linger in the aromatic waves of peat smoke.

For over two centuries, Jameson has perfected the art of whiskey-making, staying true to their heritage since 1780. With barley grown locally in Ireland and water sourced from the Dungourney river, their whiskey truly embodies the essence of Jameson's homeland. Jameson Black Barrel is a blend of small-batch grain and single-pot Irish whiskey. Matured in double-charred barrels, this whiskey boasts sweet and spicy characteristics. Time spent maturing in double-charred barrels leads to intensified aromas of butterscotch, fudge, and creamy toffee. On the palate nutty notes are in abundance alongside the smooth sweetness of spice and vanilla.
