The fifth release of Johnnie Walker's limited-edition Ghost and Rare series celebrates Glasgow's famous Port Dundas grain distillery, that closed its doors and sired down its stills in 2010. Known for its distinctive sweet, fragrant character, Port Dundas was not only a blending powerhouse but also one of the world's most-famous grain whisky distillery, and Johnnie Walker master blender Dr Emma Walker has hand-picked whiskies that will complement and show off this ghost distillery's character. The creamy, woody notes of Port Dundas have been complemented by softly smoky, vanilla-forward whisky from ghost distillery Cambus, original stocks from Brora and fruity whiskies from five iconic distilleries.

An interesting twist on Johnnie Walker Black Label, Double Black was rolled out for general release in 2011. Double Black adds to the normal Black Label profile by including more Islay whisky and casks that have been heavily charred, giving a more intense flavour with a greater emphasis on smoke while keeping true to the sophisticated Johnnie Walker style.

Johnnie Walker Gold Label Reserve is known for its creamy smoothness. It opens with a luxurious burst of delicate nectar and gentle smokiness that develops into sweet fruits and deeper, velvety, honeyed tones before giving way to sublime, lingering whispers of smoke and oakiness in the finish.

Johnnie Walker Red Label was launched in its current form by brothers George and Alexander Walker in 1909, though it had existed as Walker's Special Old Highland Red Label for some years previously. Alexander blended a type of whisky which is more suited to mixing with soda than the heavier, more old-fashioned whiskies, and named it after his grandfather, who had started the family business in 1820. Today it is the world's most popular whisky and is sold in more than 200 markets world-wide.

On transatlantic voyages, barmen desperately stowed loose bottles onto racks to prevent breakages caused by the unrelenting pitch and roll of stormy weather on the high seas. Created in 1932 by Sir Alexander Walker, the uniquely shaped bottle will sit and 'swing'. This was in fact the very last blend created by Alexander Walker, Master Blender par excellence and grandson of John Walker, during the golden age of travel in 1932. The Swing is a multi-year blend from Speyside, Highlands and Islay and is noted for its rich, golden colour and silky smooth palate with inherent sweetness.

This unique blend contains only the finest single malt and grain Scotch whiskies, long aged in a variety of oak casks for many years before being blended and bottled in Scotland. The result is a whisky of top quality which is renowned throughout the world. Sweet vanilla toffee aromas with a pleasing spicy influence. On the palate it's creamy and warming, fruity with butterscotch. Finishes long and complex.

Situated between the north and south Japanese alps, Mars Shinshu is Japan's highest whisky distillery, at nearly 800 meters. The Hombo family have been distilling for more than a century and they added whisky to their repertoire in 1949 in Kagoshima. This whisky is inspired by great whiskies of America. A majority of corn balanced with light malt aged in ex bourbon barrels. Ideal for daily sipping, in a mint julep or an old fashioned.

Combines single malts from three of Speyside's finest distilleries. The name is an affectionate tribute to the hard graft of all the maltmen past and present.

Naked Malt's unique blend of the world's finest single malts is extra matured for six months in 'Naked' first-fill Oloroso sherry casks. They call these casks 'Naked' because they've never held whisky before. This process adds a layer of rich and fruity flavour, creating a great tasting, versatile whisky, perfect for enjoying your way. Deep russet, clear and bright. Well balanced oak, sherry with a citrus hint on the nose. To finish on the palate there is a medium full flavour, mature, Speyside fruitiness.
